Pi.lit Smart Sequential Road Flares (NEW FMCSA Exemption)

The pi-lit® ‘smart flare’ incorporate an innovative radio-linked network to automatically sequence the flash. Approaching drivers see a sequentially-lit string of flares much like a runway landing strip that guides traffic around the incident or work zone. They are easy to deploy and provide advanced traffic guidance and safety for motorist and road professionals. pi-lit Sequential Safety Flares has now been granted an exemption from the Federal Motor Carrier Administration (FMCSA) to be used as warning device in lieu of warning triangles or fusee flares.

Professional Rechargeable Specifications:

  • Gravity controlled light output: Tilt sensor automatically directs light output to optimize approaching driver awareness
  • RDS™ (Rapid Deployment System): Automatically turns on flare when removed from the case (Winter gloves? No problem. No buttons.)
  • “Pair” mode system allows for single or multiple sets to be synchronized
  • User default stored in memory. Preferred pattern, deployment order, tilt gravity sensor, and more are saved in memory for next deployment.
  • 6 hour recharge time from a completely depleted battery

  • Reverse sequence mode: reverse the direction of sequence with a button press (can be deployed walking with or towards traffic flow)
